ASUS has come along way in introducing to the market sleek and light weight designs for everyday use. It wasn’t too long ago we were all getting used to the idea of a portable computer, they were heavy and still hardly mobile or compact.
ASUS held a showcase this week in Sydney to preview the latest in their technology and hear in more detail how the engineering works. It was also a great opportunity for me to ask questions and learn more about the brand on an intimate level.
I was quite surprised when I asked what the turnaround time was for an old model to be transformed from its new concept, into new hardware, any guesses?
Five months! That’s all it can take and these new developments are showcased at worldwide events. One event in particular which is on my list to attend is the ‘CES LAS Vegas’. If anyone has been before, I would love to find out how your experience was.
After a week of working with ASUS and attending their showcase event in Sydney, it was amazing to get a feel for the new technology and how it would be beneficial for my line of work or beneficial for my family members who are also very tech savvy.
There were two designs I particularly loved and that was the VivoBook Flip 14 and the new ZenBook. These two machines are ideal for creatives who use a lot of design programs, so very essential for large files and running a lot of programs at once. I am big user of Lightroom and Photoshop, so if you’re in the market for a new laptop, I would definitely opt for either of these.
The VivoBook Flip 14 is the ASUS laptop you would have seen featured on my Instagram. They have brought in this new range to include a chic exterior, long-lasting battery and is light weight for using on the go. Among its other amazing features is a touch screen and tent feature.
I a definitely looking forward to seeing the next product showcase for ASUS.
