Okay wow, I think I need to acknowledge that it has been a ridiculously long time since I’ve written a blog post. It has been on my mind for so long, I’ve put it off as life has just been busy. But I am happy to be back and sharing with you and have A LOT to share,

In April this year, I visited South Australia.

If you’re visiting Adelaide for the first time. I highly recommend hiring a car, there are so many beautiful spots, too many that are so worth visiting. I started my trip in Adelaide meeting my partners family for the first time. Did I mention his from Adelaide haha? What better way to explore than with a local?

Typical me wanting to see the coastlines, we headed to Henley Beach and Glenelg Beach and continued to cruise down to Port Willunga.

The following we day we drove to the Barossa Valley, I can’t begin to describe how amazed I was with how beautiful this wine region is. I’ve been through the Tuscany wine region and Margaret River and was not as amazed as I felt even just driving through these beautiful palm-lined roads.

We stopped for lunch at the famous Maggie Beer Farm, be prepared to stop for a while so you can take in all its beauty, try almost everything on the menu and all the taste testers inside. I know I was guilty of that. There is also a beautiful lake with around 30 turtles swimming around. It was incredible watching them do their thing and observe them in nature from the outdoor eating area under the Autumn sun.

I still reminisce about this trip and cannot wait to visit again and see my partners family.
