And secondly, I like odd socks. Haha but seriously.
If anyone saw the excitement on my face when I found out I was coming on this trip with IMPULSE FRAGRANCES, it wasn’t just a crazy excited face I pulled, it was a bed jumping, cartwheeling, Micky flip, moon walking kinda ordeal. Anyone else ever experienced that before? Was kinda my first legit time too.
I’m really excited to share with you over the next few days how impulse has shaped as a brand and grown into many amazing fragrances to take with you, anytime, anywhere.
Okay, so day one after the best 21hour flight (no sarcasm) I checked into the amazing Standard High Line hotel in the meat packing district of the city, very cool area and highly recommend. I had some Sydney friends and mutual friends and a best friend join me for dinner at Macao in TriBeCa, which was incredible food and the staff, fantastic! So this was more like the first night.
The first whole day my friend Cathy had visited me from Toronto. I hadn’t seen her in three years since we were on the Sunshine Coast after she studied there. It was amazing and yes lots of screams when I opened the door to greet her. Another blogger Kendra joined us as we had our first breakfast at the Standard Grill. We then embarked on a 15km journey around the city involving the outskirts of Central Park, the Rockefeller Centre, shopping on 5th ave and just being all round awesome street explorers.
It is always such an amazing feeling having friends all over the world, meeting up with them and it’s like no time as passed at all, ahhhh I’m getting all jittery.
Theres a couple of travel essentials I’ve mentioned on my Instagram so far so be sure to include them in your next travels.
I can’t wait to share more of what our days have involved as Impulse fragrances have taken me on this amazing trip. Be sure to follow my Instagram and check out the hashtags. #MyPerfumeTrip #FollowYourImpulse
